  • dog owners...........

    hopefully someone can help,takin dog away in caravan for first time next month,but she is a jack russel/nutta,so i need 2 things that i can't find
    1.looks like big corkscrew you put into ground to tie a lead to(can't find cause i have no idea wot it's called lol)??
    2.is there such a thing a lead a dog can't chew through????

      are u or anyone you know going to the Drum this weekend, i have one of those corkscew things you can have (new, still in packaging)

        (1)you can find in some halfords or pet stores or camping stores with no prob
        (2) you can use a length of chain

                    i've seen them with a long steel cable attached, but the ones like this just have a ring for the lead.

                      i use something like this as a power kite tether. jack russel will be no probs

                        A bit of thin wire rope from B&Q, not piano wire thin though! don't want any nasty accidents.

                          I'm a skin flint, so I used my tow strap, on the rear tow bar. Worked fine for me!
