Get A/Ts, muds will lower your mpg and wear quicker on the road. I have General Grabber AT2s and they will keep up with mud tyres off road (Unless it's up to the axles wet mud) and they'll be better if you encounter snow on the road.

Agreed. There is no laning that I've ever found where decent ATs and a well chosen line would not get you through.

If you're into pay & play, it might be a different ballgame.

I'm getting either GG AT2s or BFG ATs shortly, on a set of wheels, so I can save my fast wearing Mudzillas for more 'mentalist' moments.

my KL71's are at 10mm all round now and I think ive had them on a couple of years... my dads BFG AT's have just been changed at about 75,000miles!!!!
