its a reason for refusal to test, thats if it genuinely cant be opened becasue of a fault and not just because its locked.

bushwacker you didnt tell me which discos had amber side lights, what series was it so i know to look out for them?

cheers for that, vosa musnt know that discos have amber side lights, as this is what there mot book says for reason for refusal

An spot on mate!! When he told me i was thinking "What!! an before i got pished about something being broken realised ive seen a few people look for a latch outside the truck an some even get the window down an then get stuck on the final hurdle!

It was on all facelift series 1 discos. So vince is pretty damn spot on with his 95 onwards. they all have amber!!
I know ive got to follow rules an regs etc. but Ive had them in for aaages now an they will probably go back in after the mot!

i think you will find that they have white side lights, the only amber lights they had were indicators, repeaters and side marker lamps.

The lense is amber an when lit it was amber.
