I Sure do. I am a window cleaner and was brought up in the bad part o Tranent, so lived around and worked with scumbags since i was 14, 10 years. brought up around them since i was 4, 20 years. i give everyone a fair chance until i am proven wrong. hence the reason i employed a few o them, smack heads too that said they were getting off the stuff and beleive you me some o them are good liars, so i give everyone a fair chance till am proved wrong. the point we were making was police officers attitudes generally stink if they take a disliking to you and that was obviusly the case in this circumstance

You should trust no-one until they prove they can be trusted. Using your methodology, you are just begging to be screwed frequently. Experience will eventually teach you the error in that thinking.

I'm sure a few police officers would say the same about you if you are prepared to judge them all based on a few you have met or maybe just heard about....

What has being a window cleaner got to do with it?
The copper involved here might have told someone their kid was killed by a drunk driver the day before, and that would affect how you deal with someone stinking of beer, no matter what. And thats something you don't have to do while cleaning windows...

No one got hurt here, no one got arrested, just people going about their business. I shall say no more here....
        it's in me shed, mate.

some off them look fine and act fine and dont smell bad. i never said i trusted them, i said they deserve a chance until they prove me wrong, only person that screws me is the missus, and she reeeaalll good at that. in window cleaning it is hard to find good hard working clean reliable guys. since i went self employed in nov, i have had two good guys and am not looking to take on anyone else for now. onne o them tried there luck at the start and that was sorted out, he went home on the friday without wages.

Quite a few of us will have been in jobs in the past where we have to deal with the scrotes, (and I'm personally one of them), but it still ain't relevant.

I answered your question and gave you the reason behind that answer, i work around them and have lived around them. there is that better. as i said i give them all a fair chance until they prove me wrong. then u decided to take it on ur shoulders and say i am getting screwed time and time again. so what do u expect me to reply matt

I said scum of the earth, not scrotes. There is a big difference between having to wipe your feet on the way out of a house and having some scumbag trying to stab you or kick the crap out of you, or inflicting harm or damage upon you or someone else in any other manner they can devise.

Also, I never said you were getting screwed time and time again. I said your attitude was begging for you to get screwed time and time again.

I really do wish people would read what I actually write, or listen to what I actually say. I can hold a perfectly intelligent conversation with myself. If I deem it worthwhile actually taking time to talk to others, (which is not something I am intrinsically fond of by virtue), I would appreciate actually having it listened to or read correctly.

Ok well i do appoligise if ihave misread or missunterprited wot u meant. Your gonna have to tell me more on the difference between scrotes and scum o the earth cos they sound the same to me. before i employ someone i always tell them the script about trying to get smart with me. they usually try it but they get worse back from me, i.e dont give them wages, end o the day the ball is in my court when it comes to them.

In my personal opinion, scrotes are idle, useless, dirty buggers. Scum or scumbags are exactly that. The people who have no useful purpose in any regard, and should be prevented from ever reproducing.

Yup see your point. you try dont let it get to that point and if it does then so be it and hope for the best. If they were to do that i honestly think ad shat maself but until that day comes they aint gonna get one up on me. Thats one o the reasons i work for myself now, i can choose who works for me, hence the reson my business is doing well so far. two guys that work for me are fine, just one o them tried taking one too many days off

so to put it in simple terms for me, scrotes=tramps and scum/scumbags=smack heads

Jeez, people complain when they do nothing, and then complain when they do something. Can they do nothing right? They have no idea whether you are legit or a lying scumbag until they can prove one way or the other.
If I was drunk, I wouldn't have been behind the wheel of the car at all. I only smelt of alcohol because I'd been pouring them. I proved the officer wrong with the breath test and this didn't seem to please him. That's my complaint, I was still treated as a drunk driver despite proving the officer wrong.
Hold my beer and watch this

Right. Put yourself in their shoes. You might know that, but they have no way of knowing that, so they *have to* assume that you are lying until they can prove differently.

Not meaning it in a bitchy way, but if the general mannerism in the tone of the thread is anything to go by, I think you may possibly have contributed somewhat to his arsey manner. Granted, he may just have been one of the little Hitler types, but you might well have put him in that type of mood too.
