The last time i used the dwell was on my rivera, really usefull tool but since the electronic ign phased out points and condenser etc, i figured i'd never use it again, the dis cap on the buick was clear (see through) plastic and had a small flap opposite the points adjuster, so you could do your setting up with the cap on and engine running! really easy, looked neat at night to also had a grunsons colour tune, remember that? glass spark plug, so ya could see the "burn" and adj accordingly, good old days!!!
