Thats weird, 'cos not only did the rod sit horizontal with a drop bracket, but the axle to body alignment is spot on too.

I'll trot out my old 'each of these trucks seem to be different' line again, but if you drop the rod to the angle it was at originally, the axle's horizontal position will be where it was originally. You cannot argue with the laws of mathematics.

If you did, and your axle was out of line, then it was out of line before.

does the same apply to the trailing arms? do they need to be adjustable as well? if I get a suspension lift will it pull the axle forwards?

Joe, I think you have an adjustable rod and a drop bracket because the suspension lift you have is so big (I think I remember you saying it was 6"). you should be able to find a suitable bush to fit. I wouldn't go swapping it for a standard one just because you have a drop bracket, you may find it has been adjusted to it's limit and the drop bracket was fitted to make sure the axle remained centred.

Yeah, obviously. Thats why 'proper' lift kits have brackets which drop the trailing arms.

Nah, its near horizontal. Therefore its near the same length as a standard one. Think about it.

Bonfire still burning brightly. You appear to have run out of pee.
