I have enjoyed doing the work on it as i haven't done anything like this for 15 years and the first time with a desiel motor,so if the block is knackered then its been a learning curve for me if i need to do one again.
Plus i'll make the money back on parts if the engine is knackered
well i got the truck running and then the bottom end gave out.
It ratlled like a rattly thing and smoked like the Flying Scotsman and then rattle clonk bang and stopped.
I now have a 1994 3.0l up for spares.
I gave it a go and never worked so time to cut the loses and try to make some money back.

Bad luck there Richard, I know just how disheartening it is when something like that happens, but there is always plus points to everything, you have learnt a lot, made new friends and I’m sure you have had a good time and some laughs along the way. Hats off to you, better to try and fail than not try at all.
Its got 5 near new 31x10.50.15 greenway macho mt's on 15x7" steel white wheels. There is a little rust where the wheel nuts have been done up but can be cleaned up easy enough i should think

That is very true Roy.I would of been gutted if it was a easy fix and i just broke it without trying.
