    's a long shot but -

anyone local know if you can get in/out of the northbound services via Mule St. or Damery Lane into woodford/berkeley (map - http://www.motorwayservices.info/are...ea=88&show=map)

if you can it'd save retribution driving halfway up the M5 to turn round and come back down again.

You can get out of the back of Michael Wood services. The exit is in the truck park, it did say no unauthorized access or something similar but that's never stopped me. If they have closed it off though it's about 8 mile to the next exit.

The 419 is a dual carriage way and goes all the way to the M5, the 46 isn't and getting through Stroud is a pain, plus it's 30 miles further up the M4 to J18.

Are you both going to turn round and return to Glos/Brighton? If you are I'd look at a layby on the A419 (M4 J15) or Membury Services on the M4, you can get in/out the back of the west bound side, straight onto the M4 west and back roads to J14 to head back east. Depends where you're going after and how far you're both wanting to travel.

why the hell would you want to meet there for? thats right down in chepstow town right opposite the castle n around the one way system.
if your going into chepstow you might as well meet at larkfield garage which is on the right or just past there there is a hotel on the left. or if bdt coming over the old bridge come off at the chepstow turn off head towards chepstow n just after the motorway roundabout theres a pull in then all bdt got to do is carry on up to the next roundabout n turn towards chepstow towards lyndey etc. or youll have to go across bridge n meet him at the thornbury turn off at jusnction 14 m5.
god you 2 are just as bad as 2 mother hens but just dont tell joker or he will get excited

I never have any problems on the A419. My dad lives half way between Stroud and Cirencester and I drive up there all the time. Does get a bit skinny and rubbish at the Stroud end though. I'd go M4, A419, A46.
