Have seen a few of these on ebay lately, i quite fancy one myself for my gen2.

Does anyone know what they cost new as they seem pricey for secondhand units? - or is that just me being a tight git!

As all Surfs are imported so I don't think your local Toyota dealer would have one in stock. I may be wrong of course, but if they decide to help ( most unlikely) they would have to have it sent from Japan and as the last 2nd gen went out of production circa 1995 I don't think there will be many new ones to be had. No doubt the price would be huge compared to second hand one's.

Someone on here recently bought one for £35, inc postage, but it was blue! Keep an eye out in the for sale section and Ebay is always a good bet.
