Having signed up to this forum way before i actually had a surf I found it extremely usefull and invaluable to be able to read through the existing posts and threads as this helped me decide which model to go for and what to look out for when buying.

Once I needed specific technical info with regards to a problem on my truck, i had no problems paying the subscription fee at the same time as i posted a question, as i believe this Technical Resource should remain available to all who need it and if this means paying £10 to post a question on something that had been missed during the period spent searching it is £10 well spent.

If Koi can keep this alive by leaving access to existing info free, but membership is required to gain specific info then that IMHO is the way to go

I think to keep this site as useful and open as possible but without anyone bearing the brunt of any costs it would be better to make the paying subs a bit more obvious.

this has already been said and I think my tenner is well spent because of the excellent info available here.

My previous post of only allowing 5 posts would need modified (too strict I think) but somewhere there is a point that newbies will get to when they realise that the site offers so much that the £10 looks like excellent value, which it is.

You'll probably be able to help him finish it, when you're about 30 or so
