can I put 31/10.5/15 on a 15 x 10 wheel or is the wheel too wide? and do you think there would be any issues with putting a 10 inch wheel under a stock surf?

i got a 5" lift on mine and run 33's on 15x10" rims and i even get rubbing with them so i would think even on stock they may well rub but depending what the offset is

Far to wide mate - plus it would look cack!

ive seen 33x12.50 on a 12" wide rim an it looked dangerous how stretched it was.

Its the extreme opposite of a 12.50 on a 7" rim.

If you want to run big wide rims then lift it an run big wide tyres.

Its not cheap, but its awesome. If you dont wanna fork the ££ into it then dont look at big wide rims.

8" wide would be spot on mate, That way if you do, do the lift you can use the same rims on a 33x12.50 etc.

                      thats not cheap!

have you checked silverline mate? they do some sexy as f**k black modular wheels for £330ish for 5 in 15" x 10" i know they do smaller sizes.

if your not planning a big lift you could get some 16"x8" an run 265/75/16 which is bigger then a 31" fills the arch really well on stock an +2"

its what ive been running on my alloys an they've been spot on. if i wasnt going any higher then the 2" lift i wouldve got some Insa Turbo Dakars (BFG MT pattern) cheap an run them... wouldve been a great cheap combo!

Am planning a 2" susp. lift and maybe a 2 "body lift. could i run a 16" wheel before i do any of the lifts.

Yeah! I had 265/75/16 on stock height.

the size of the wheel dosnt have any bearing on the overall size of the wheel + tyre.

it just creates a bigger hole - normally, depending on what measurements the tyre size is! ... it gets complicated

I'd probably give silverline a try if they sorted out their web site. half the pics of alloys dont load and theres no prices.
I dont understand companies that use the web to advertise and then have shitty websites.
Anyways, thanx for advice I'm off to bed.

Silverline dont show all their tyres on the website either. They stock loooooods of tyres too.
