If the wheels were spinning at a million mph an inch off the ground if you hit the go pedal what happens?? Thrust acts on the air and moves the plane forward now drop the plane an inch what's changed?

Don't care, its irrelivant to the question posted. Wheres the conveyer? Thats the important part, as long the 'conveyor' matches in the opposite direction any forward momentum of the plane, the air speed over the wing is going to be zero. Plane still on ground.

tony, the conveyor wouldnt hold the plane back, it would just make the wheels turn faster, just think about that.

im not coming with stein(unfortunately),but i do intend to visit next year(early on maybe to get some snow in),and camp when its cold enought to freeze your spuds off,mr mudsurfer is keen to attend,im sure we can convince mr apache,and possibly a few others
