I thought forum etiquette meant that you had to storm off in a huff now, because someone disagreed with you ?? At least that seems to have been the trend lately

You need work out the difference between Part Time 4wd and Full Time 4wd, instead of blindly following the text book.

A part time 4wd setup like a Surf is to all intense and purposes a 2wd car untill you push that little lever forward or press the buttom.

A Full Time 4x4 or any AWD car, will obviously cause trouble, as the wheels left on the ground (front or back), will want to turn the wheels that are on your Spec Lift and the car will try and climb on to the back of your truck!!

Stick a extra litre of auto fluid in put i in neutral and keep below 40mph it will be ok to tow but not huge distances keep below about 70 miles if possible.
And don't forget to drain out the extra litre before you drive it again.
