Welcome to the madhouse a single din UK stereo is a must as the GLITZY one that comes with the surf only gets radio 2 you can buy a band expander which are not very good you will need to buy the cable adaptor & a cubby box to fill the hole that is left after removing the double din unit, weve all done it so if you get stuck just ask. also jap satnav wont work in the uk either

Went to pick up my eldest son from school this week, he pleaded with me to go for a spin in it ....so off's i drive to pick HIM up...only to find there are 7 of his mates all waiting to go for a spin too......the only words that i got out of them were "cool" and "awsome", i think i have just been rated as a "cool" mother lol

            Hi Paddy & Jo.

Welcome the madhouse. Sounds like you got a bargin there. Lets hope you dont make a habit of picking your son up from school too often, we dont want people confusing it with a scrummy vehicle IMO ie: Frontera, Disco, RAV's, etc. If they want "cool" and "awesome" and a very, very, good time, take them off roading and get the kids grinning and talking about their ultra cool mum for weeks....Happy Surfing.

don't worry i don't normally do school runs, my kids have legs and they will walk lol, it was just a "one off" ..i am not the local school bus lol lol, let me get the hang of off roading and i might take them with me.....i washed the outside today ( well i took it to the car wash), just to see what colour it really is...doubt i will be doing it again though, it looks a bit "poncy" now.
I have seen some of the vidoes on the site from the off roading that some of you have done, it looks great, i would really like to try it, but i haven't driven for 6 years ( until two weeks ago), Paddy would be great at it, he is used to pick up trucks and stuff ( still reminises about when he had his "baby"....a mark one escort ha ha), i think i would be able to do it though, well i just need to try and find out don't I? lol

Brilliant, what do you call your boxer?, and how old?,what affix is he/she? i am just waiting for my affix from the kennel club, Mine two are Shadow ( 20 months old) and Fibber ( 6 months old, also known as Mr Fibbs), i lost my eldest one (Kipper) last year and still really miss him. Shadow does basic obedience and agility, Fibber is a show dog,and does basic obedience and agility, to say i am Boxer mad is a bit of an understatement.ha ha, i spend all my spare time studying pedigrees and show scheduals, (sad i know lol). This is why Paddy bought me the surf, so he doesn't have to ferry me around to dog shows every weekend lol.

yes my two do the "kidney bean dance" every time i come home, you know that dancing in a circle with wiggly bums, and i know what you mean about poo................we have a sign in our yard saying "beware of the DOG.....S**T!" lol

No thats not us, ours is that'lldome

Sadly we had to have her put down last night, woke us up yelping. Took a look at her, stomach a bit swollen phone call to vets met them at the surgery. X ray confirmed twisted stomach, by this time she was in shock and getting worse. Emergency surgery needed but vet advised at 13 yrs old it is such a major operation that she wouldn't survive given her age and current condition. She got so bad so quickly while we were in the vets we really could only do the sensible thing for her.
Going home tonight to an empty house won't be the same, I know, this is the third time we have been through this and it don't get any easier, believe me.
Say not always what you know, but always know what you say.

                              hi jo,
our boxer is called d,arcy, he,s 6yrs old and we lost his papers a few years ago when moving house. he,s from good stock with a good pedigree, the wife knows more about it than me and she,s out right now but i,ll quiz her when she gets in. I think she bought him from Barnard Castle way? ring any bells about breeders in that area?
if you run a search on dog cages/gaurds you should find some info on one to fit a surf, i,m sure someone had one made to fit a surf, anyway worth a try.
now go and clean that dog sh*te up, i just have phewwwww!
