Beer £4 A Pint And It's All Our Fault !!!

Just been reading on teletext that breweries are predicting a minimum £4.00 pint next year. The reason? You might have guessed it would be our fault...... it's because the price of hops and barley are to rise dramatically due to farmers turning over their fields to grow bio fuel producing crops!!!


So now we're going to have the beer drinkers ragging our arze's as it's our fault that beer prices are going up coz we're using bio fuel and rapeseed oil etc!!!

bet its only goin up in this country and half the beers are just chemicals anyway i bet and nothin to do with farmin, its just another way of rippen us off by blamin somethin else, its all that browns fault lol i dont trust him.

Whats wrong with growing the crops in Africa then? A whole fecking continent thats going to waste. They can grow it, sell it, make life better for themselves and stop begging us for money to fit a tap to a mud pool.

as I understand it the government pays farmers a subsidy to keep fields empty so that we have to buy stuff in from the EU.
if we just used the space we have we could manage everything from beer to bio fuel at a much lower cost

just my opinion!!
