How long is that lower chrome bar ?

I am wondering about mounting the tailgate bar to the underside of the chrome bar.

Dunno Trev but i'll measure it tomorrow, if it's not long enough i think the bar will be ok in between on the bumper, should be visible through the gap in the two bars, (from the car behing at least)
