well the White lines on the road are not White , more a pretty shade of RED

At a lower density/resolution - yep !!!

I have them come on with the lights, with braking and finally with reverse

If you connect them as I specified yours will do the same, and will take a damn sight less than an hour - job done

guess - I know it's not level, ruddy camera cable got in way and I didn't notice until the pad was fixed tight.

Yep, see the black plastic of the step, the bar lines up to the bottom of the plastic

Well it would do but as you can see it slipped a bit on the left.

Surprised you not been called out for the M25 at J9 or the Balcombe Road just in the heath.
