Now quite possibly I might regret asking this, but....

If we were to go and make up some wheel arches for the surfs, which style would you guys prefer?

(dont know how to add a poll)

A: The standard LA Arch http://workshop.supertrux.com/pastprojects.asp?ID=13

                  B: The Actic arch http://workshop.supertrux.com/pastprojects.asp?ID=15

Now please bear in mind that the moulds are Damm expensive to make so I will be looking to make these in one width only so the next quwasion is how wide?? +2" +4" ??

Lastly which model Surf should I make the first ones for to see the best return?

                  Regards Nigel

PS I herby formally appologise to anyone who thinks that this is me advertising, I'm not But I was SERIOUSLY surprised at the number of guys in this thread who said they wished I did these for Surfs.

                    Nigel,

I have 3 (of a set of 4) of the FatBoy arches, Not sure who makes them, but they are quite a bit bigger than the standard widebody flared arches. I may be willing to send them over to help create some moulds if we can come to some form of deal.

As for the two you mentioned, I'd go for the first ones in a +2" width, although either style is nice.

                    Oh, and definitely 2nd gen.

i personally dont think your advertising, i just think you trying to help others get what they need for their trucks which is a good idea n im sure youd donate to forum if you got enough people to have them,

I don't mind it getting a bit tatty as long as I have no need to change due to its unsuitability or incapability off road. Look at me I'm very tatty - but I keep going !!! awesome!

My preferance would be the 1st type of arches. the L.A.arch! in +2"

an again 2nd gen surf! the 1990-1995 models, seem to be more of them around with mods etc.

                            awesome!!!!

I agree, reckon start out with arches for 2nd gens (no offence to the 3rd gens) Saw earlier part of this year a 2nd gen well lifted and had extended arches similar to the one in the first pic. Got a pic on my phone, will put it up later tonight

                                2nd gen arches please
                                4" wide please also.
you can already get 2" wide arches (or 2nd hand 2" wide arches)

I like the 2nd set buit would probably happy with either
