That's just got me thinking. What's the situation with regards to using BioDiesel and SVO/WVO? Can you just treat the BioDiesel as if it was plain old Diesel and use the same ratios of SVO/WVO, or should you lower the quantity of SVO/WVO when using BioDiesel?Paul </Slugsie>

Originally posted by SlugsieWell, not that cheap, still more expensive than it was only 2 months ago. In September time I was getting my Diesel for around 87p/ltr and SVO for 53p/ltr. But anything to stave off the silly prices at the moment.
From what I've heard, well filtered WVO is slightly less viscous than SVO (that's a good thing).
Watch out for people selling "Biofuel" which is just treated Veg Oil. Always ask if the Bio is real "transestherfied" Biodiesel. If not, don't mix with it, cause it's just SVO with some thinners in.

Worked out at 55p/litre, for WVO that's been filtered settled & siphoned for you... not bad.
The guy who runs the place is a bit new-agey for my tastes, but nice enough.
If you're in the Plymouth area, check 'em out... and tell 'em Iain sent you.

On Follow signs for Newnham Ind. Est., go up Lister Close -- they're on the left.
Here's a transcript of my receipt:
40 Litres of Oil: £22.09
2x Fuel Can: £9
VAT: £5.45
Total: £36.54
Knock nine quid off the next time you go... £27 for 40 litres.
