  • wheels spacers + :)

    fitted them today,
that jack thats under the back seats is rubbish! still better than nothing at all!
am i missing something from it though? i have a 2 ft handle with a hook on the end, and the bottle jack.

i had to go and get an adjustable spanner so i could turn the bl00dy thing
then, i had to go to halfords to buy a 19mm socket to bolt the things on :/
then i got a black mans pinch

but it really stops the body roll doesnt it! truck feels a lot more solid now. and when i look in the wing mirrors i can see the wheels

    cheers dave!

Nothing wrong with the Surf bottle jack, we used it to do Apache's bodylift.

er I mean on his truck, not man boobs!

thats prolly why i was having some difficulty.. a adjustable spanner works the same

ive got the bag, but all thats in it, is a shock and a bar, but nothing that would have helped me today

I have it, and it does fully raise with three pumps, but not when the weight of the truck is on it!

It's something to do with the centre caps on the wheels, but I'm not sure what. I've never used it.

It's a wheel cap replacer, and contrary to popular opinion 09183 is a wheel cap wrench, buggered if i know what either of em do or how to use em though, never had centre caps on mine when i got it.

I've got one of these, http://www.screwfix.com/prods/71178/...ack-2-5-Tonne# , it's actually a 3 tonne jack, you can just make out it says 3 tonne in the picture not 2.5. And at £35 quid at the moment you can't go wrong.

It will easily lift the truck off the floor under the rear axle or front crossmember, it's 10mm taller max lift height than the other one too.
