  • Micky Taking Time. Go On I'm Ready For It!

Bit quiet on here tonigt after last nights mass postings on the 'Shiny Club' thread so I thought I'd share the news of my latest purchase.

I know I'll get some stick as I've read a lot of people on here hate them, but I've bought one of those stick on wooden dash kits!

The dash is a little shabby and I thought that my new DVD player would make it look worse when it's fitted so the kit should tidy it up a bit.

Not to everyone's taste I know but I like them. Anyhoo it was a bargain, normally about £60.00 plus postage on Ebay, I got the same kit brand new for £10.50! I love a bargain.

Will post some pics with everything fitted (hopefully) at the weekend.

    Let the p!ss taking commence!

OH MY GOD, A wood panelled Surf interior, whatever next, ceramic tiles on the floor, maybe an artexed roof ?? . Something by Laurence Llewlyn Bowen or that Ronnie barker bird ?

Only kidding, I happen to like the wood dash trim, my first Surf had it. I was going to get one for my second Surf too , but sold it instead and got my 3rd gen SSRG which came with it as standard. Let the phillistines, luddites and flat earthers take the $$$$. I think its bling and look forward to the pics

                      Jim, sorry, but NO!

I've seen a few cars (not just Surfs) with these fitted, and without exception they've all been hideous.

But, it's your truck, so you are absolutely free to customise it as you see fit.
