Ooooh, my membership and commitee status are in doubt. Although I'm nice and shiny 'up top' and 'clean as a whistle' inside, Vince considers my 'undercarriage' to be below par!

The back end is hammerited but on seeing my pics of the front end, when I posted regarding wheel bearings, Vince hauled me over the coals (not a pleasant experience).

I'm hanging on by a thread only because I promised to finish off the chassis painting in the spring.

Consider your application pending until a thorough inspection of your pictures has been carried out.

Any backdrop will be OK, as long as we can see the depth of shine.

And make sure you get it right, standards are high, I dont think my membership was in jeapordy but I did get a reprimand from President Bush (whacker) for a tiny bit of rust staining on my spare wheel hinges.

As stated by our"president" a decison will be made on submission of suitable visual evidence (pic's), while interiors are not actually taken into account, it should be pointed out that a clean and tidy (and led'd up) interior does show that you've gone that "extra mile", and could be a deciding factor,
The shiney club is a small (but perfectly formed) branch of the HILUX SURF FORUMS, often ridiculed but never dirty,

The muddy tyres are a bit of a let down, but how can i refuse him entry, he shows promise and i think is just trying to be all things to all men, (shiney and muddy) therefor i vote him in and award him the club badge, (anyway he owes me a tenner )
