how far north can you drive in the uk before you run into problems?
i feel like going on a mission again...

also, how would our trucks cope with temperatures below freezing? is there like a said limit on how low the temps can go?
    Oh Nana, what's my name?

looks like there is a boat or ferry or something that goes to the orkney islands and shetlands... then another boat goes to norway... might be good for a laugh

Guess who has the delights of Thameslink (or whatever they call themselves this week) next week just been and got me tickets, it's cost me more for 4 days on the train than it costs for 2 weeks by Hippo

                          Ditto

Dieselboy the routes across from the Islands are pretty straight forward.

Even in the depth of winter up in the Highlands we rarley get very severe frost.

I lived in East anglia for 10 years and can remember there being much worse cold spells in the South East.

I hope next year to do the north run across Norway and along to Russia.
but sadly not on the Surf I will be taking the Kawasaki. So need tarmac.

Yes I know but it's the cost of fuel that prohibits me going by truck.

Unless you wanted a co driver to share the diesel and driving then i'd be interested.

                          Cheers JB

They use these trucks in Canada, where it gets to about -40 degrees, so any UK temp won't be a problem, just up the antifreeze %
