I stayed here in January. In the 'Morning Lodge'. Jucuzzi bath,sauna,four poster bed and a log stove. Even got engaged while i was there.!!!

The weather was terrible,but when your in that log cabin and the stoves on you just cant beat it and its only a 1 1/2 hour drive for me.

About 3yrs ago went to Aviemore, about 3 or 4 miles down the road from there (South -Homeward bound) n don't know the name is a tiny Villag with a Smiffy n a Sailing Jetty n Club House n some Log cabins nearby !!!!
Help Jock !!!!! Where is it ??

Meanwhile I'm heading up that way me self this weekend for the Peace n Quiet !!!! Thanks for the help it could be helpful ....

I might even go up before the end of the year. Think it was 80 or 100 bucks for 1 night,but it gets cheaper the more nights you stay. If i go i'll try get you some pics. You drive over a causway to get to the island and drive through a marina to get to it.

You better book up soon as theres only 3 or 4 lodges there,but Scorlands a big place and there is other places

Try this. Went there in spring and thought it was great - but weather was brilliant which always helps. The cabin we had slept six but that might be a bit snug. There were four of us and it was perfect. The drive up is superb (from Edinburgh or Glasgow direction) and seems to be a big favourite with weekend bikers.

Hi mate, Hope the Family all ok ? not bin Hiding so much as trying ta get the Bungalow sorted, Rain makes Veggies Grow, Hedges n Grass n thats wiv out the Mods to the home (most I'm unable to do, but I do dabble) it's bin ongoing for about 4 years now.... Maybe finished sometime next year tho !!!
Wer'e escaping up Norf early this morning, bit O R n R... & No I can't Rock 'n' Roll no more !!!!!!
