  • tinting spot lights.

Well, My cheap a$$ spotlights.... £2 each were bolted to the truck today, got no bulbs for them yet though.

Anyway..... Turns out they are sooo cheap the lenses are different colours

I was thinking, is there a way to tint them? Maybe blue like the light pod spots??

    Cheers everyone

gel sheet http://www.google.co.uk/products?hl=...num=1&ct=title , normal film could well melt with the heat from the bulbs. You might find the colours too strrong for what you want though.

Yeah, I did. Transparent glass paint from hobbycraft shops, about 30 bob.
I sprayed it on with an airbrush then clear laquer.

what lights are they? if they're up to it upgrade the wiring and stick 100 or 130w bulbs in and you won't notice the colour difference as much.
