what lights are they? if they're up to it upgrade the wiring and stick 100 or 130w bulbs in and you won't notice the colour difference as much.

Would that only be noticeable running? Cuz off they are different colours...

How much is the nessesary kit going to cost? Bear in mind my only plan is to do two 6" lights!

An airbrush kit is around a tenner, Machine mart sell them, you don't need a compressor, you can buy cans of compressed air, some airbrush kits contain them.
You'll find other little jobs and mods to do if you buy one.

you'll just have to drive round with them on all the time

Or if you're gonna be really cheap get some KC or Lightforce cover's for them, then people'll think you've got expensive lights
