2nd or 3rd

Jokes aside everyone, I have a budget of about £4K for my new Surf, and I need it to be with me, as my only car for at least 5 years....so do I:

a. Get a 2nd gen, in really good nick, ultra low miles and customise the hell out of it, or

b. Get a 3rd gen, stick a snorkel on it, lift it but spend a bit more money on the Surf in the first place???

It's a tough decision, which is why I have come to ask my extended family for guidance.....

5 years is a long time to own a vehicle, if you can get a very good 3.0 2nd gen then that would be my choice, but I don't use mine as a daily driver ( I have a brand new van for that)

It's a very tough choice, but my heart has always ruled my head.

Well with the £1500 you will have in your pocket after buying mine, you could fit a sunroof & then customise to your hearts content

there was a 3rd gen on ebay under the clasified adds.It had a big lift but some muppet swapped the wheels over and put the originals back on.I'll see if i can find it again for you Andy
