so someone finally wants me hehe. thanks to nero for the CV, i re-structured mine, and after about 5 days of it being on monster, jobserve and one other website my phone has been non-stop. ive had to turn interviews away, and put one back over a week.. but im going to cancel that now cos ive been accepted.
i just need some advice though from you clever lot
i went to docklands for a 2nd line role for a permenant position @ 23k a year.
they said they had been looking for someone like me for a while and they have another position they want me on, it will be 1st,2nd and 3rd, working with other people, learning off them. (im very happy about that, as i want to learn lots more) the only thing is, he said he cant offer me the 23k, it will be 21k..
how can i push for more money? i would like at least 22, because buying a train ticket every month is going to cost a fair bit. this company is rapidly expanding, but i dont want to be taken the mick out off. i know im a push over.
he said he will give a pay review soon after i start (they will probably drop the money hehe joke)
the company only has about 50 employees, they arnt very big, which is a good thing i feel..
how would i construct an email saying i accept the position but need to push for more money, and / or would like them to guarantee the pay review later..
do you think im taking the mick?
