The name and shame thread

I wasn't to sure what to put for a title for this thread.
But like Koi says as long as this thread stays sensible and it is all fact thats posted then there's no come backs on any forum members.
Plus this thread can help weed out the culprits if there are any on this forum which we all hope there isn't or anyone who knows someone that hopes to join our meets.

I have read this thread with interest.

Although I wasn't at the meet and can't comment on this guys behaviour, I can tell you that you get these people EVERYWHERE.

As you all know, I own and show Ex Military vehicles. The biggest event in the country "The war and peace Show" has over 4000 vehicles and covers over 300 acres. Of all the people there, 99% are decent and considerate, but there is always half a dozen that endanger the event for everyone.

A few years ago someone was letting off white parachute flares in the middle of the night in a few hundred acres of vehicles, displays and tents. One flare carried on burning (these are phosphorus and DO NOT go out) and landed on someones tent while they were sleeping. It totally burnt out the tent, luckily the occupants got out OK. The show was in serious danger of being stopped. A show that big nearly stopped by one persons actions.

It might be an idea to send out attendance forms a few months before the show that request all the persons details, name, address, vehicle reg AND the persons insurance details. Unless you are covering these people by separate 3rd party cover, it would be an idea to get these details in case something happens. As you know, most insurance companies do not offer cover for off roading events, rallies etc as standard. If this person wiped someone out in their tent pulling stunts, would his insurance have covered it????

Like I said, I didn't attend the event, but in this day and age of the blame culture, you have to make sure all bases are covered......

fair play to you rich for naming and shaming him, me the wife and 2 of my children were there one being surfette, he was a danger to us all, one small mistake and he could of killed someone while they were sleeping safe in there tent. if you read this phil grow up.

thats the thing Neil,when you see where the tents were and where the 2 donuts were done there wasn't a great deal of space to be doing that sort of thing

As some of you know that at this years RTTS a couple of people done a runner without paying for the off roading,camping and their share for the cost of porta loos.While everyone was at the off roading them included they decided they would dissapear.It wasn't until Mandy showed someone back to the campsite that they had gone.Not only had they dissapeared but they also done donuts in the field everyone was camping in.
I have had payment now from one of those involved.
So SHOGUNPHIL who has a short wheel base dark blue shogun is no longer welcome at any meets that i organise again and when you read the thread from the POCUK site i'm sure most of you will not want him at your meets either.
I sent the Admin of POCUK an email last night as i heard that SHOGUNPHIL was a member there and here is the reply i had back from them this morning

Phill (paji-shieldy) was banned from The POCUK in late July because of this and other issues ... you can see his demise here :

Fortunately, Phill was not attending the JAE as a member of the POCUK this year although, his vehicle still had the Club logo's etc on it and, to all intents, would have appeared to others to have been a representitive of ours

I have no doubt that he is still visiting the Club's forums under a pseudonym however, he will not be welcome at the pocuk nor at any future www.pocuk.com events.
