Same as the mega huge tesco near me. They sell the 15ltr drums near the oriental and asian foods.

Any of you lot had trouble buying anymore than 10 litres of veg oil from Tesco's. I have been refused twice now from buying it (chelmsford branch)inlarge amounts!! Must be some trade restriction!!

In my local Tesco the 15 liter drums work out at 56p/litre. The 10 litre plastic-in-cardboard packs work out at 53p/litre (and they usually have a couple of those on the shelf, so that's in my trolley then in the tank ).

Thats not bad. 20 litres is £10.70 at Costco, so Tescos is cheaper!

My local Tescos don't seem to do big drums of Veg Oil, which is odd as it's one of the bigger Tesco stores. The Asda next to work was selling 15ltr drums at 56p/ltr, but seems to have run out of supply as that shelf has been empty all week (can't imagine who bought them all ). Going to check the local Lidl on the way home tonight.

Dohhh! Asked my wife to get 3 x 3 litre bottles of rapeseed or sunflower oil from Asda (I get confused very easily) and it worked out at 68p a litre! Should I have asked her just to get ordinary veggie oil?

That is ordinary veg oil. Asda are obviously just expensive.

Been round Blakemore's this aft, and their cheapest 20L drums, (Soya), were about £11-60 excluding.
