no need to ever take any damage, just take your time and dont do anything that you think is beyond your capabilities. dont forget you've got 2 tonne under you. Listen to the people around you who have done these things before and you'll be fine.

Just looked at my last post...I could get that down the street but she hasn't got a very good reputation... I mean't off roading.

our off roading day will cost a max of £20 but if everyone goes that has their names down then it will turn out to be about £10 - £15 per vehicle and the laning is free.
drunkmonkeyboy and sv1000spilot have found some good lanes up your way so it may pay to give them a shout if you want some practice

Thats ok cause pirate storm wants the same also when he comes in september also.You can have a ride with someone first to see how they do it then they can ride with you and run you thru as your going round

The main part of the course is on tracks and up and down a couple of hills and then you can go off into the wooded area then once your confident.I doubt if i will be doing a lot of driving so i can always go round with you anyway

How severe is the off roading on the saturday? or would I be better off just doing the laning?

Would I need proper tyres to do the track part?

Its not that severe,like i said the worst part of it is in the wooded areas so you can avoid that if you want.I chose this particular course as it is you wont get any damage on it.i will get the link to last years pics for you to see

this is the course we are using and the pics are of the easiest parts of it.There are a couple of the parts which are not in use now and thats the ones where the trucks are in a pit

Yup thats for the saturday.i will be going down there a few days before to mark up a few sections for those who want to go a bit more extreme and trim out a few overgrown areas aswell
