For pudding at our wedding we had a choice of something fancy, and apple crumble and custard,(my choice )

Instead of a buffet at night time, we had people walking around handing out bacon and sausage butts.Great stuff, did`nt slow up any drinking

this blokes paying £80 per head for catering... i'd get the local chippy to deliver for less than £10 each!!

what a rip off!!... i'd bet everyone would prefer the chippy too!

just another case of my town being so pretentious.

                  Dessert:
                  Creme brulee
Woodzie has told what a parmier is

Tian is a dish made in layers - so that would be smoked salmon and avocado & creme fresh layered

Crottin is french cheese, herb crustine is a herb crust made usually with breadcrumbs and herbs. Prosciutto is thinly sliced smoked italian ham.

Red wine jus is a thin gravy made with meat stock with a large amount of red wine..

Saffron is a yellow spice, with a light flavour, tarragon is a herb that goes very well with chicken, port jus - see red wine jus...

And I think you have the others from other posts - Dolce Latte is italian blue cheese, creme brulee is a vanilla based custard type dessert with brown sugar on the top, that is melted then cooled to create a hard top!
