    Put it together. Finished it by 12:30 (still needs rendering but I'm no good at that so neighbour gonna do it) so the Vicki insisted that me and my helper (Keith) go off and have a few beers.

        Gonna fire it up for the first time tomorrow afternoon. It should be getting warm in the midlands around 2pm.

            I presume the expression 'small and compact' is never one you stick by? With the size of that thing, I'd check nobody's moved into it before you light it.

              It'll only be local chavs... in which case I'll make sure I use plenty of accelerant so the end comes quickly...

                      I'm glad I got the larger one.

                              Nice one! A Hilux Surf Forum Annual Barbie
                              I am a barbie-meister myself. Always using logs , cook chicken first when hot as flames want burn it. When the chickens done the coals are ready for chops, steak, ribs and after that the sausage, burgers etc.
                              (making myself hungary for tomorrows bbq)
                              I have to confess though, I now only use UK lumpwood charcoal as I have patio on top of the garage and dont want to smoke the neighbours out too much!
                              Enjoy breaking it in tomorrow!
