    all you need is a 14mm spanner. the prop shaft just wants unbolting at both sides, a gentle tap with a mallet and its out. only 8 bolts to undo. vince do you have a pic of your prop, if needs be ill whip outside with the camera.

    then just put the 4wd button in and off you go.

      Thanks Andrew - I'll call the garage 1st thing, do that & drive to Poole and sort the UJ later in the week - are they easy to fit?

      ALSO

      Any ideas why this one would have gone hours after fitting?

        easy to fit, just need a screwdriver a vice and a big hammer. took me about half and hour. was it a brand new UJ they fitted?? can't imagine why it would pop straight away

          Brand new from RoughTrax - they did front & rear.

          Well, I'll get them to drop the rear prop & pick me up in the morning so I can still go to Poole and get the rest of the work done - I'll also make sure they have greased the front one a bit more, just in case!

            Are you going anywhere near vatchman/ surfenwotsits? has he still got his now redundant front propshaft with a perfectly good UJ on it? just a thought..
