Yes it looks like the tax under the "old system" (which includes our surfs) is only going up £5.

Band G vehicles going up to £300 this year & £400 next year.

Income tax down to 20p..... but he has abolished the lowest rate of 20p anyway.

errr - the lower rate is 10% so s$$$$ping that means that the lowest earning tax payers in the country will now pay DOUBLE (i.e. 20%) on everything over their personal allowance .........

i hope you are right about the rise affecting newer cars, this could $$$$$$ cripple us if it hits the surf. be nice to know before i go to work tonight, get the usual car owners having a go about having a gas guzzler, this comes from someone who owns a 2l petrol people carrier and drives it like a race car!
