can anybody give me any advice on whether its worth adjusting the little screw under the thimble(technical term)on the injection pump ,read a couple of threads and some folk recon it gives you a bit more power and the truck runs better is this true?

if it aint broke...
unless you know exactly what you're doing i wouldn't adjust anything that i couldn't put back to original setting if i were to encounter a problem. but it's up to you, if you feel confident you know what you're doing, go for it.i swear, it was like that when i got here...

I done mine over a year ago now with no problems.
It increases the boost pressure of the turbo, or rather it lets the turbo spool up higher before the waste gate opens.
It's advisable to fit a boost gauge, but I didn't. I think the spring in the wastegate actuator weakens over time, and packing it out with the washers brings the boost pressure back to where it was when the truck was new.
