    B/S!

I guarentee a standard 2.4 will crack the head if it overheats, 3.0's are far better, otherwise Linda would be on her or 6th head by now.

3.0's like ANY car will crack heads if they get to hot, the 2.4 just couldn't take a little bit of heat.

I agree with Matt to an extent about the 2.4 bashing, its not all about the power, or the MPG, or the general ease if driving around (see, maybe it is...........), 2.4 is perfectly adaquate for mid sized 4x4, but thats it, just £2.8K for a 91' or £3k for a 93' 3.0 is a complete no brainer.

I drive plenty of Surfs everyday, I would easily pay double for a 3.0 over a 2.4.

Best thing about a 2.4 is value for money, you should be getting a late 92' with all the toys and great nick for no more than £2.5K these days.

I have other, more exciting words in my dreams. Like 'winch bumper' or 'chrome sliders' or 'fighter plane'

                            Though 'explodicious' has featured recently.
