      I'd go cb, at the moment it's more common at pay and play sites, even if it's just to listen in on the banter that goes on. Aswell as being fixed down and easier to find if you need it. Also some good looking DIN size units about to fill the gap/cubby box under your radio.

      Having said that, PMR is OK, there are some good PMR radios about, but there are equally some sh!t ones, i have 2 sets the first set was £30 for 2 radios from a known mobile comms manufacturer and you're lucky if they work at 500yds, even worse between vehicles. The other set was £80 for 4 radios so only £5 a radio difference in price and we have had a range of 9 miles+ according to motorway signs between 2 minibuses. They were made by UNIDEN and they are awesome for what they are.

          midland 38, about 60 quid for the lot mate




          aerial is a mag mount on the roof, and the cable runs through my rear spoiler electrics rubber.

            sorry wont be able to make lochgilphead that weekend, working.

            my jont to drumclog was with a few guys i know, nothing to do with scotwest.

            we just turned up paid our £20 to the guy at the house and away you go.

            its a great place, you can be as daft as you like, you could play all day and probablly not see it all, its that big.

            my mate has a 1 hour video of the weekend. once i get it ill try and post some of it.

            if you were interested i,ll post up the next time we are going and if it suits, you are more than welcome to joint us.

                  That would be great Scotty, would be good to pay the site for a visit, shame your workin for the Lochgilphead trip. Will watch out for video and next date your visiting Drumclog.
