Small balls
Yep, it's believable the part where the arctics get picked up but the small plastic balls get left behind. I call it the Dyson principle. That is after buying one of these "revolutionary" pieces of cr@p you realise that the only thing that has been sucked in is the consumer. Dyson not only got me once but twice! After the first one breaking my wife wanted another - they don't learn - but seeing as she is in charge of the housework I bowed to her wisdom. Dyson number 2, still picks up things like coins and socks (don't ask) but not the tiny specks of fluff that cling for dear life to the carpet. As for the small balls, tiny pieces of polystyrene that the previous owner of our house had used for loft insulation. Oh, how I would like to thank him for using this. When I was boarding the loft floor and properly insulating loads of this stuff came down. The name of the game is to see how many pieces of this the Dyson actually manages to pick up. Made more difficult as the "cyclone" action supercharges each ball with static electricity.
Back to the telly, I have just looked at the christmas line up and it actually does get worse each year. How do they do it.
