Good grief! We had one for 7 years and have just slung it out because the carrying handle fell off when it fell down the stairs.
Bought another one a few months back. Superb bit of kit! Even sucks the colour out of the carpets!
Perhaps I'll start running courses on how to use vacuum
cleaners...
Have to aggree! had ours about the same time, sucks like a goodun, have a job to get it off the carpet, trick is clean your filter and carry it by the proper handle, that why its called a carrying handle,
Probably like British Rail having problems with the wrong type of snow.
It's networkrail now tho...
but this year down here they have actually been treating the rails with sandite for the autumn to stop the wheels spinning on the rails covered in leaves so they have been getting prepared early this year

You're right it is Network Rail. Just shows how long it is since i've been on a train excluding the channel tunnel recently.
