Is it only certain Frontera models? Everything I've found upto just for those
    shows spin on filters.

Going to have a look at the L.R Series filter. Nipped to the garage down the
road that does Landy repairs today, (the chap there was very nice and helpful),
and even though they don't work on the series landies, he did tell me about
a hoarders paradise for old series parts. Apparently there's someone else
not far away who repairs just those and has a farmyard full of parts lying
around. Methinks I'm gonna be getting kicked out by the wife due to coming
home with a load of stuff I never needed but couldn't resist. Cheers Andy.

      down the road from me.

Yeah. Any Land Rover dealer will be able to get them. They are the same size as that fitted to the bedford MK/MJ Army trucks.

It's a metal cylinder with a big bolt thru the middle. You might need the oil filter housing too.

So, trying another line of attack, air line filters. Does anyone know if anyone
over here makes/stocks anything like these?

          Thanks again.

Cheers for that info. The're quite cheap to replace, then. That's nigh on
three filters to one decent Toyota one, price wise.
