Been with adrian flux/NIG for 2 years, and they been great, bought the surf mid-term and they transferred insurance over no problem, challenged my renewal quote last week and i'm now with Highway, still through adrian flux, coz they came out £180 quid cheaper inc. off-road cover and towing but restricted to 12000 miles.
Both NIG and Highway will cover most modifications at very little cost.=========

[QUOTE=Woodzie]If you want to off road it and direct line find out they will cancel your policy[/QUOTe
how many people bother with off road cover, its a waste of time, the times i have tried to claim they do anything to get out of paying as for off road cover the insurance company would try to put any off road accident down to reckless driving.

My policy clearly states grenlaning is included provided you follow "the greenlane code of conduct", and offroad events cover is included provided you are not driving negligently, and adhere to site rules and marshall's instructions.
I can see any insurance company (including mine) trying their damnest not to pay, that's how they make their money. However, the law changed last year and the onus is now on the insurance company to prove that you were in breach of your policy, same as modifications, the insurer now has to prove that any undeclared modifications played a significant contributing factor in either causing or worsening an accident.
This doesn't neccesarily mean it's going to be easy to get money out of them in the event of a claim (my head's not that far up my ass!), but legally the onus is now on them.=========

NO What i am saying is that the moment that your car is used off road it is no longer covered as they will not insure it
Thats why mine got canceled according to there letter as my mods were for off road use
Now with adrian fluxwww.daemon4x4.org
