I've been told of ther 'judas plug' option

normal plug on a curly lead is concealed, when parked,
false lead is on show for helpful nightime theft when lights are a good idea,
sadly it all goes to earth somewhere and blows fuses all over tow vehicle

any other variations/suggestions on this theme
