that sounds like my mate who bought split fire spark plugs for an estimated 6bhp improvement as he reckoned you got 4 sparks per plug.
he still wont believe me when i tell him the plug will only earth/spark in one place

As you know, you can only ignite the fuel once, so it dont matter how many times it sparks !

The mod was originally tried on the mechanical pumps, so you should findOriginally posted by sumo
it'll work on yours as well. The EFI tests came later.

Done mine yesterday & the throttle response is awesome now compared to that orrible lethargic Surf I used to drive.
