      On our estate the roads are in a shocking state full of potholes, guess what! they have been round all this week painting the white lines, bet they start next week repairing the holes.
      Laugh!!! I nearly bought my own beer.

          Hey Paul, does that mean they removed the road humps & Recycled it to fill in the Pot holes ????? Doubt it !!!!!!!!!

            If the removal of dead animals was not part of the contract I guess then the contractors are in their rights to leave it!

            Was probably also a health & safety risk to the contractors
            Got an itch, might need to scratch it soon.

                Maybe so, but I'm sure that the correct marking of the road was in the contract, and I hardly think that what they did counts.

                  At least it would warn people to keep to the right of the dead badger. It don't half stink when you get one stuffed up the wheel arch.

                              when i was a contractor on the railway going all over the country we were up at a station just outside london working at night and a couple of blokes carrying a gennie over the track and they were busy looking at a fried badger and they were'nt watching what they were doing and dropped the gennie on the running rail and third rail and god did it fly and went off with a nice bang too
