still only about 5 miles from me thats not a bad site from what i can remember from the days of my youth during the summer holidays

if you get time we could meet up somewhere of your choice...only thing is i can only get on the net when i come to helston ( i have family here) prob wont be back till think maybe sunday-ish..and most days are pretty full of doing things as you do when you on holiday..although would like to meet you while im down this way???

If you go back to the roundabout for the A30 instead of going onto the A30 for Camborne take the next left as if you are going to the filling station.Just follow the road straight up to Connor Downs and the pub is on the left just as you get into Connor Downs

the 400 mile journey was ok in the surf and it didnt miss a beat i have now got a bobbox fitted and iam unsure of wot to think about it, but there may be a problem with my signal wire from the t.p.s as the voltage was a little low. however bob told me to take it from the boost sensor instead and that is the wire that he would of used anyway because its a lot more accessible. so i have done this and still not sure of wot to think i dont seem to get much extra power. think wot i will do is fit a switch on the signal wire and see wot a diffrence there is wen off to on!!!

Anyway, about the Bobbox. One sure way to test if it's working OK is to start her up, lift the bonnet and move the screw around to full whilst reving the engine via the throttle cable. If you have wound it to full you will be able to see how black the smoke goes when reving. When I did this test on mine, the back end of the Surf nearly disapeared!

If you notice no difference then obviously something is amiss...

iam getting black smoke, and ive got the new type it has jumper settings instead of screw type settings
