the road back..
started stripping it tonight, (dont panic, got some help coming for putting it back together...) got all the plumbing out the way, just mainfolds and injectors/glowplugs to do.. any tips?
found 1 2" bit of heater hose under the thermostat that split and crumbled as it came off. think that leaking a little may have let enough water out to push it over the edge...
i had some here spare as well... ho hum.

Well, It's been a week and Chillitt's been sweating his N*ts off stipping my baby down.
Just got off the blower to Steveo. He's posting out a new head for me on the morrow, so with a bit of luck we can crack on soonish and my baby will be chugging over once again.
I'll take some piccies for all you engine perverts that like that kinda stuff!!!!
Hats off to Chillitt though, he wasn't sure about undertaking such a project when it all went wrong, however he's come up trumps so far. When it's done mate, we'll go into town and get shedded. I really do appreciate it. Of course, if anyone else wants to come and have a few with us, you'll be more than welcome!
