the bit between the tides is crown estates land and does have a right to roam on it anyway(most of it..) i think we should also allow them range west and those intersting bits down by plymouth. but only when the red flags are upit's in me shed, mate.Comment

The entire UK foreshore between high and low tides is accessible to the public. Has been since time immemorial. Because of that, access can NOT be retracted (Note to RA: this does not need to be specified in an Act of Parliament using the word "foreshore", it is already covered in previous acts relating to public rights of way).
What is not currently given automatically is the right for walkers to traipse across land to get to the beach. The RA seem to want access to go wherever they ****well like. Disrespectful little [edit]
So, if any of you own property adjacent to the coast, expect to see daytrippers wandering through your gardens.

Currently 52% No after 287 votes
When I first posted it was around 14% No after 140 votes - stinks a bit cos I got straight on when the Vine idiot first mentioned it today
I can't believe that the RA would attempt to hijack one of Vine's polls - much
