Below are the aprox costs that I got back are they in line with what you would pay in the UK or is it cheaper or more expensive.

some of the parts are more expensive but your labour charge is very cheap compared to ours, so on balance i would think its not too bad mate

Parts are slightly over the average, labour is ludicrisly cheap, which I guess you'd expect over there.

All in all its not a bad price, considering the gearbox has come out, people will get charged more over here at some garages

In kenya parts would be more than that and labour too so all in all its a good deal.
Dont forget guys that everything in africa is imported at full cost plus import tax and brides etc so reeally thats not bad.

Don't forget that the price of parts, when analysed as a percentage of an average months wages for a local, are very expensive.
