Just done a search on google for DIMOS and it seems to be either the name of a semiconductor company making electronic gizmos, a rather bling car jewelery item or a holiday location in greece. or it could be some french roofing nails!
I'l go for electrickery!
HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!Everyone thinks I'm paranoid!!

Dimos seems to be some company that made components for altereng the ECU etc for engines. I can't find any info about them except to say that a member on the Aussie site once explained DIMOS as " a double implanted MOS chip". Your unit has no wires so is not electronic. I'd say they also made other items such as yours.
